2015 Safety Day Album

On 5 December 2015 last year we hosted our first RMarine Flagship Safety Day.

We invited all our clients to bring their family and boating friends down for a fun end of year event with the focus on SAFE BOATING.

Special guest and speaker last year was Tony Rae from Team Vestas Wind – who showed us some incredible footage of their mishap at sea, and talked us through how they managed to get themselves out of it.

Greg Brownson from Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust – shared some of their wildest rescue stories with us as well as vital information of how to avoid those life threatening situations.

On site we had firemen explaining how to put out different kinds of fires and how to use the right equipment correctly to put it out, Paramedics demonstrating CPR and other life saving first aid skills, we had testing of flares and EPIRBS and much more!

This year we are doing it all again, bigger and better! This is an event not to be missed, a must-attend before starting your boating season this summer.
